Townhouse combined three multifamily apartment buildings into a 60-foot wide luxury doorman apartment building which contains over 20,000 square feet of indoor residential space, 10,000 square feet of community facility space and more than 3,000 square feet of outdoor space on nine levels. Townhouse was the exclusive developer and acted as the construction manager of this project. After approval by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission the buildings received new historic facades. Once combined, the building was legally divided into two condominium units; one consisting of an 8,000 square foot community facility that was sold to the Garden House School in the summer of 2011 and an additional 2,500 square feet of ground floor and cellar space sold to Garden House School in November 2012. The other unit consists of 7 multifamily residential units. Average residential rents in the building exceed $110 per square foot.
